Why caller IDs are all scrambled up?

2024-05-24

After updating QueueMetrics, you can't see the caller ID numbers, or the caller ID have been replaced by a string of numbers and letters?

The numbers are hidden due to the new "Hide Numbers" feature:
Hidden Numbers policy

Usually this means that the user you are currently logged into, has the "Master key" enabled.
(some more details on how user keys work)

You will want to disable the Master key for that User.
The scope of the Master key is to allow you to debug issues related to specific features or other visibility keys.
We usually advise against having the Master key enabled at all times, for the Users.

An alternative to disabling the Master key, would be to set the "default.hiddenNumberPolicy", in the Edit system parameters section of QueueMetrics, to "none":
Homepage → Settings → Edit system parameters → Add "default.hiddenNumberPolicy=none" at the end of the file.

Save the configuration, log out of the QueueMetrics interface and log back in.
