Upgrading the QueueMetrics Yum Repository to HTTPS

For historical reasons, the first version of our yum repository was accessible only via HTTP.
Now the repository available through HTTPS as well.

The plaintext repository will not be dropped because we are aware that some old systems (CentOS 5 based systems for example) may encounter handshake connectivity issues and so on.

For this reason, the default protocol for our yum repository will now be HTTPS; if you have an old installation you will have to migrate manually and check if it works on your system.

In order to migrate you have to replace the

baseurl

line in

/etc/yum.repos.d/loway.repo

to

baseurl=https://yum.loway.ch/RPMS

NOTE: The file might not be called loway.repo if you have renamed it manually, in that case please edit the relevant file.
